The Pivot Table below is currently sorted alphabetically according to Sales Rep. A more meaningful way to sort this data might be according to sales. Use the steps below to learn how to sort a Pivot Table.
Note: Double-click Sales Rep to walk through a sorting example.
Starting Point: You have created a Pivot Table.
Double-click the field you want to sort by.
Click Advanced.
From the AutoSort options area select either Ascending or Descending.
From the Using Field dropdown list, select a field.
Note: You will usually select the data field.
Click OK.
Click OK.
