The Pivot Table Wizard assists you in generating your Pivot Table. Three consecutive dialog boxes walk you through the different options.
Starting Point: Your data source is open and a cell within the data is selected.

Select Data...PivotTable and PivotChart Report.
Click Next. (Microsoft Excel list or database and Pivot Table should already be selected by default.)
Click Next. (If you selected a cell within the data source then your data range was automatically selected.)
Click Finished. (New Worksheet should already be selected by default.)
